The slow current in the usual water levels represents great joy for all the fishermen who float fish when they wait for the first class specimen to be caught. It is a mixed district and the quantity of the whitefish increases. The shore vegetation and- in summertime- the river vegetation, too make the fishing hard. You can fish for grayling using dry fly very often but you have to react to the happenings in the water very quickly. In this district the Ljubljanica is classical carst river with slow current and rare rapids, with the depth and water vegetation.
