The river Voglajna
(from the bridge Tratna to the outflow into the Savinja)
The river Voglajna flows down from the lake Slivniško jezero and runs its 35km long journey to the outflow into the Savinja in a very slow current. Its many tributaries and windings hide many different fish species. Fishermen mostly catch following fish in the Voglajna: blue catfish, silver bream,gibel carp, ide, chub, crucian carp, carp, tench, barbel, perch, common nase, Mediterranean barbel, common rudd, common roach, bleak and stone moroko (topmouth gudgeon). You can find some predatory fish as well: asp, zander, catfish and pike.
