Allowed catch (ATTENTION: it is necessary to consider the minimal length and the fishing season for each individual species!) 3x rainbow trout, of which a maximum of one may be 50 cm or longer. On the Tolminka and Bača rivers, the retention of two (2) rainbow trout up to 40 cm in length is permitted. You may also retain up to five (5) cyprinids, but the total maximum catch is five (5) fish. After catching three rainbow trout, you must stop fishing. In the 3rd and 11th month, it is prohibited to take cyprinids!

Restrictions
MANDATORY USE of barbless single hooks and a landing net. PROHIBITED USE of leader lines thinner than 0.10 mm, additional weights, and indicators. ALLOWED USE of a tenkara rod with a maximum length of 13′. On the Soča River - lake, fishing from a boat is allowed. An electric motor may be used, but trolling with an electric motor is not permitted.

BAČA: from the outflow below the Bača factory in Podbrdo to its mouth; BELA: from the bridge in Breginj to its mouth; IDRIJCA: from the dam at Slap ob Idrijci to the confluence with Bača; KNEŽA: from the outflow of Proščak to its mouth; KORITNICA: from the confluence of Huda and Žventarska Grapa to its mouth; NADIŽA, UČJA: within Slovenia; SOČA: from the bridge in Čezsoča to the entry point Srpenica 2; from Napoleon’s Bridge in Kobarid to the Kamno bridge; from the Volarje bridge to the Volčanski bridge; from the dam in Podsel to the confluence with the Vogršček stream; SOČA LAKE: from the confluence with Tolminka to the confluence of the Idrijca and Bača, and to the dam in Podsel; TOLMINKA: from the dam near the old fish farm to its mouth.
