Allowed catch (ATTENTION: it is necessary to consider the minimal length and the fishing season for each individual species!) 3x rainbow trout, of which a maximum of one may be 50 cm or longer. On the Tolminka and Bača rivers, the retention of two (2) rainbow trout up to 40 cm in length is permitted. You may also retain up to five (5) cyprinids, but the total maximum catch is five (5) fish. After catching three rainbow trout, you must stop fishing. In the 3rd and 11th month, it is prohibited to take cyprinids!

Restrictions
MANDATORY USE of barbless single hooks and a landing net. PROHIBITED USE of leader lines thinner than 0.10 mm, additional weights, and indicators. ALLOWED USE of a tenkara rod with a maximum length of 13′. While fishing in the Soča Lake area, movement with an electric motor is permitted, but trolling is prohibited.
