This watercourse is small and is home to many cyprinid fish species-especially smaller ones. It almost dries out in summertime especially when the drought hits. The total surface of this district measures approximately 3,6ha.
According to the size the creek Polskava is the smallest fishing district among the open waters managed by the RD Ptuj. It is home to smaller fish species and these always attract the fish eating birds which then almost empty the creek. The number of crucian carps grows constantly and blue catfish is not hard to find. Some carps appear occasionally and we also put in small quantity of brown trouts- to see if it works.
