From the old records that are still kept in the headquarters of the RD Ljutomer we can seet that our fishing family has been operational  since 1954 which makes us one of the oldest fishing families in Slovenia. After all these years we still have about 400 members in all fishing cathegories. Our water basins that together measure 234 ha are home mostly to the cyprinid fish species, especially chubs,common nases, barbels, common breams, zanders and pikes whereas in the gravel pits and reservoirs  the main fish species to be found are carps and predatory fish. Tourist fishermen will enjoy the excellent fishing in the gravel pits Mota where approximately 14 ha of water surfaces has just been waiting for you or in the reservoir Gajševci - its 68 ha of water offers first class specimens of carps and predatory fish (catfish, zanders).
