Fishing family Bistrica Domžale manages the waters of the Bistrica fishing area, which are located in nine municipalities: Domžale, Mengeš, Trzin, Moravče, Lukovica, Kamnik, Komenda, Cerklje na Gorenjskem and Dol pri Ljubljani. The fishing family is one of the largest clubs of this kind in Slovenia, since we manage the entire basin of Kamniška Bistrica from the source to the mouth of the Sava River and all tributaries and artificial canals, which covers almost 400 km of watercourses, 14 fishing ponds and two lakes. Due to the size of the area covered, we are divided into four larger areas, managed by subcommittees: Domžale, Kamnik, Moravče and Pšata.
